How to plan a corporate event highlights video in Barcelona: length, shot list, interviews, delivery times and 2026 prices from €1,100 + VAT.

A 60-90 second highlights video of your corporate event in Barcelona starts, with us, at €1,100 + VAT, including licensed music, subtitles and both horizontal and vertical versions. This guide covers what a good aftermovie needs, how to plan it so the important moments are not missed, how long it takes and what each format costs.
What a highlights video is and what it is for
A highlights video, or aftermovie, is a short piece that tells the story of the event in one to three minutes: the atmosphere, the speakers, the audience and the two or three lines that best sum up the message. It is not a full recording of the talks; it is what you want attendees to remember and what you want people who could not come to see.
It is mainly used to:
- Send to attendees in the thank-you email, while the event is still fresh.
- Publish on LinkedIn and on the website of the company or the event.
- Sell the next edition to sponsors, speakers and attendees.
- Internal communications: show the rest of the company what happened at the convention or launch.
For more ideas on getting the most out of it afterwards, see our guide on how to use your event photos and videos.
Choosing the length
| Length | Works best for |
|---|---|
| 30-45 seconds (vertical) | Reels and stories on Instagram and LinkedIn |
| 60-90 seconds | Email to attendees, LinkedIn, website. The most requested format |
| 2-3 minutes | Event website, annual report, sponsor pitch; room for speaker soundbites |
Our recommendation: one main 60-90 second video and, from the same footage, a vertical version for social media. If the event has speakers or executives with something to say, the 2-3 minute format with two or three short soundbites is worth it.
What a good aftermovie should include
- Opening shots of the venue before guests arrive: the stage, the signage, the branding.
- Arrivals and atmosphere: registration, greetings, the room filling up.
- The key moments of the programme: the opening, the keynote, an awards presentation, the toast.
- Audience reactions: laughter, applause, conversations. This is what makes the video feel alive.
- Two or three lines with sound: from a speaker on stage or from a short interview.
- A branded ending and, where relevant, the date of the next edition.
On the technical side: clean sound for the lines people hear, licensed music, subtitles (most social videos are watched muted) and logos and captions consistent with the event’s look.
How to plan it
A good highlights video is decided before the event. What helps most:
- Send the run of show with timings, even a draft. That way the videographer knows where to be at every moment.
- Flag the three or four must-have moments: if the CEO goes on stage at 10:15, someone needs to be ready at 10:10.
- Decide whether there will be interviews, with whom and when. Ideally 10 minutes per person in a quiet corner with good light, better before their talk than after.
- Ask for a feed from the sound desk if you want to use lines from the talks. A direct feed sounds far better.
- Let attendees know they will be filmed, at registration and at the event. Our guide on image rights and GDPR at corporate events explains how.
- Share references: a video you like, the brand guidelines and logos.
Photo and video at the same event
If you also need photography, the simplest option is to book everything together: one coverage plan, a single point of contact and consistent results across photo and video. The photographer and the videographer are two different professionals who work at the same time and coordinate so they do not get in each other’s way at the key moments.
At large events, with parallel sessions or an exhibition area, you may need more than one person per discipline. We explain it with examples in how many photographers and videographers your event needs.
Delivery times
| Piece | Usual timing |
|---|---|
| 60-90 second highlights video | 5-7 working days |
| 2-3 minute highlights video with interviews | 7-10 working days |
| Round of changes | 2-3 working days per round |
| Reels and vertical clips for social media | Same day, if planned with a content creator |
The highlights video is not edited on the day of the event: selecting, cutting, colour and sound work and subtitling take time. If you need to post while the event is happening, the answer is reels and vertical clips made by a content creator during the day, with the highlights video following later.

What drives the price
- Hours of filming. A two-hour cocktail party is not a nine-to-seven convention.
- The length of the final video and the number of versions (horizontal, vertical, languages).
- Interviews: how many, and whether they need their own lit and miked set.
- More than one videographer if there are simultaneous activities.
- Editing extras: logo animation, graphics, subtitles in several languages.
- Travel outside Barcelona.
